The Ashes 2017/2018

First Class Cricket Talk (International and State)

My feeling was the rain worked in England's favour, allowed them to re-evaluate after a poor first session and also really slowed the outfield. However, it's robbed them of the opportunity to bowl ten overs with the new ball under lights.

An evenly poised match.

Weather would of kept some away too as they were predicting closer to 60k.
Disappointing the crowd has really thinned out for the last session
You can thank Keith Bradshaw for that and his stupid love affair with a pink ball....

We have been making Test Cricket a boring batfest for decades and as soon as we give the bowlers something it’s an issue. Love the Day/night Tests.

But why do Adelaide cricket fans have to freeze their arse off each year? Rotate it around the country.

Absolutely agree. Was a bloody fantastic contest. Not a huge amount of runs scored but the sheer contest makes it enthralling to watch.
