That's one duty I refuse to partake in at home, I do ALL of the dishes in lieu of not having to do other roles, mopping is a no go zone for me too!

With 5 of us in the group it was decided we try and get a 5 seater cab rather than 2 Ubers, so I ring the Taxi company. I ask the pretty chilled out bloke if it's still difficult to get a 5-Seater these days and he says not at all, will have one there within 15 minutes.
Ring back 30 minutes later when no cab has shown up, only for him to tell me we're still trying to find one. Told him we have a time deadline for an event but he didn't seem to care so told him to shove his cab, and explained that this is always why we use Uber. Taxi industry cries foul all the time, but the wankers don't do themselves any favours!

Caught a cab home last week from the same spot I got an Uber two weeks earlier.
Uber - $23
Cab - $33.80 ( rounded up to $35 )

I only catch a cab if i'm at a cab rank in the city or airport.
