As a smug Port fan used to always say to me, wasn't even worried!

They will certainly give it a shake this time. The more you lose the closer you are to a win???

I'd be surprised if they get within 100 again and utterly shocked if they get within 50 and if they get the runs, well...............
Lets just say $1.30 or whatever Aust are atm is STEALING MONEY. Should be about $1.12

Make that 16 times they havent got within 100
Never in doubt
Yes, occasionally there are miraculous wins but history is a pretty good guide plus the fact that scoring runs for the whole match had been a very tough task so chasing another 178 with 6 wickets in hand on a 5th day pitch (Admittedly nothing like the 5 day old Adelaide pitches pre drop ins which would have had developed large cracks unlike the concrete like slabs they are now) is more like adding 300 for the last 6 wickets on a day 2 pitch.

What a great test match though. Had a bit of everything. And the new Adelaide Oval pitches have proven that drop ins don’t necessarily have to be slow boring pitches

Shame Hazels didn't take 6 wickets with his first 6 balls.

just quietly, who the hell approved Handscombe to bat like he did ?
Facing most probably the best 2 swing bowlers in current cricket history yet still sits back on his stumps, no aggression to push forward, just survive.
Was there no observation beforehand ?
Very poor in my opinion despite his painful yet valuable 50 odd runs for the game.
Far better options than him if he is going to continue to bat like that.

Most blokes bat outside their crease to combat swing, and cut off the deck.
Makes getting out lbw harder.
Its tragic watching him go that far back blocking half volleys.
Bunny in the spotlight against a moving ball.

And to those of you who think it was solely Smith's decision not to enforce the follow on are dreaming.

Watching the dismissals for the match, I couldn't believe how many were out playing the ball well away from their body, both teams.
