Is Spencer Johnson injured @Eagles2014? Saw he played a one dayer for SA, but haven’t seen his name since.

Yes, has not bowled since that one game he did play. Stress fracture in foot. Hoping to play after Xmas. With Trent Kelly retiring, placed a lot of pressure on Renshaw and Williams, last year our strength was the four fast bowlers, teams could not make 200 against us. If we can win one or two of the next three games before Xmas, could still be sitting ok with Spencer to return in January. Not playing last week against Sturt after making 380 was pretty costly.

Who is to say 380 was enough given same conditions?? Spencer and Kelly out... that’s 4 wits a game... funny how buffs made 320+ with only one top level player... eagles good team, but only 3-4 sides that can actually take 10 poles weeks in week out - Ttg / kensi / uni / port

It was a fair knock by that one top level player though!

Interesting season - looks like Uni and TTG are the teams to beat at this stage and then perhaps 6 others fighting for the other two spots in the 4. Is it too early to rule out Kensington and Glenelg from finals - traditionally strong clubs, but only with 1 win each so far. Southern Districts look to be really struggling.

Behind Zampa, Cormack & Andrews at present. Given Andrews played stuff all white ball cricket behind Cormack he might jump in front of him...

Bowls pretty well but needs to improve his fielding (and batting I guess) to be up to the next level. A mile behind those others mentioned in both disciplines. You might see him in a couple of futures league games after Xmas perhaps.

Tend to agree with what C Horse said - maybe a taste in a Futures game in the second half of the season. Don't think they'll rush him or O'Connell who is another really good young leggie.

Potentially Luke Robins at East Torrens? He wants to open the batting but has not made a run there all year, much better suited down order where he can use his strengths of his big hitting.

Had a look at previous round, must be Tea Tree Gully and Cucontis, would have just had to look down at Bulkana Oval from the B's to see his brothers batting together in the D's and one of them making his century.

Apparently Joe Gatting was appointed coach and offered $30k, then he could not get thru Customs and only way he could get in country was to not earn any money from cricket.

TTG being watched like hawks if they give him any money apparently.
