Surely though you can see the difference between a couple of pissed idiots on the hill boxing on from a pack of wanna be street thugs strutting along looking for a fight to start the night?

One of the lads at work here is right into his zipped up anorak / adidas hat combo and the manner in which these idiots organize pre drink sessions in or around venues that are known to be the preferred destination of visiting supporters is ridiculous. They go looking for fights, no other way of describing it, they hunt in packs and look for fights. He'll happily tell me who of the visiting teams has the "toughest crews" like it's a badge of honor.

Was outside Hindmarsh after an Adel v Victory game several years ago and watched both sets of supporters go at it. None of them knew how to fight and none of them wold have gone for it had they not been part of a wannabe gang.

Pretty much the Red lined up on one side, the Blue on the other, and they'd run at each other, throw a punch whilst running, then keep running lol .. Me and my mates finishing off our froff's found it pretty funny.

and it's those supporters that only attend a couple of games a season just to incite trouble

Salary Cap is $2.65 million for around 20 players and then 3 players can be signed for an unrestricted amount (marquee players)

Average player would be $100-150k. Top liners is dependent on their marquee status in which some can be paid outside the cap and could get $400k plus

Absolute blatant cheating. No problem with our reds as they were deserved but Victory should have atleast 2 off aswell. Players giving away 7 or 8 fouls without even a yellow and the softest penalty given.

I’m still shaking my head at the refereeing. Yes our reds were there but how the hell do you get 7 minutes time on out of that?

FFA is a disgrace and needs an overhaul otherwise the A-League will be shot in years to come. The league has gone backwards and this is being exposed in the ACL. The blatant cheating in favour of Sydney, WSW and Melbourne Victory week in, week out is shithouse.

Rule of thumb usually is 30 seconds added on per sub of which there were 6. Throw in a bit of time wasting and delays in the game and 7 minutes added on is about right.
What I couldn’t get around is that our yellows/reds were deserved but the Victory players committed twice as many fouls and far worse tackles and went unpunished. 1 yellow for the game and that George committed 7-8 fouls on his own and was warned 3-4 times yet not even a yellow

Disgraceful decision, so much for the VAR eliminating the howlers.

Yep. Where the %$&# is he meant to put his arm? At any rate, it was a ricochet, no time to pull his arm out of the way anyway. And it's questionable if it actually hit the arm.

Once again we get screwed over.
