I'll come play C grade for you guys - as long as I can sit in a forward pocket, and you get at least one free beer/scotch a game.

I read it as Bedgey pays Coman at least a free scotch/beer a game for the right to play FP in the C's.

About right if you ask me ;)

I can confirm I returned to the track last night, and will be honest - mixed results.

After strategically playing the coach card, I got out of the warm up and fitness component, before confidently injecting myself in the first competitive handball exercise of the night.

Using smarts, dominated the drill, on my way to a BOG performance and 3 votes for that while all the other spuds chased the ball around like headless chooks. Following on from that in the next period I exerted too much energy and promptly hit "the wall" as my lungs threatened to explode. Over the next 15min I faded into obscurity.

Overall, my skills were tidy for the night, hardly missed a target and hands were clean, but the aerobic capacity is at an all time low. I'll be alright if I play C grade in 4min bursts with a 12min recovery between, or am allowed to walk around unmarked in the centre square.

Have decided I need Thursday off to re-evaluate my life now.

The striped jumpers are back at HV this year. Probably means very little to most, but the old school lads still at the valley would be happy about it

Excellent, personally not a huge one for the cartoon/over designed guernseys. Much prefer Golden Grove's move away from the creepy kookaburra too.

Only disappointment is Glenunga having gone the other way.

Am I right in thinking Eastern Park no longer displays the mid 90s Melbourne Demon mascot?

Magnificent change, this. Simple and symbolic of HV for a fair portion of it's history. Can't wait to wear it this season :D

Correct. They currently wear a jumper consisting of a red v-neck on a navy blue background.

Were they similar to the ones you wore as a one off this year? They were brilliant.

Watermarks are a photographer's best friend.

I love that guernsey, and I wasn't a fan of the cartoon-like design they previously had.

May as well get in before someone else does.. Farmers officially up shit creek 2018.

At this stage appear to have only retained 7/22 from last years GF side.
