The answer was Motlop to both. ;)

Booney sent me a pic of Motlop training at Alberton and I sent him a pic back with a photoshopped extra gut added on. No reply from the Boonster heh heh. If Motlop does a Motlop I'll get plenty of joy this season but if he does a Varcoe the joke's on me.

New club, new environment...... same result I think.
He just doesn't have the ticker to take it to the next level unfortunately.

Happy for him to prove me wrong though as he definitely has the talent.

Melbourne were getting rid of him regardless if he chose Port, or if he thought Melbourne were in a better position to win the flag.

It's going to be hilarious and ironic when the Dees play finals and the Power don't.

You seriously think he was going to answer Melbourne when he was asked a direct question like that?

Ill start listening to footy interviews/media in late Feb I reckon. Same dribble until then. Only big news is if someone does a serious injury and will miss a heap of the pre-season.

Any decent footy reporter is on leave this time of year, which leaves the bottom of the pile doing interviews etc.

Given Watts relationship with the media over the years......mainly one way from the media, why’d they put up Watts to front the media?
Haven’t heard from Rockliff or Motlop?

Rockliff fronted the media after his first session.

At this point, I am unaware of an interview involving Motlop.

Maybe he's more focussed on footy and trying to make sure he makes this move a real winner for him.

Cheers.

I just don’t get why players have to front the media here in SA.
A player like Watts is going to cop it regardless of what he actually says just because he is an easy target for some.

I figured that would be the case.

All new recruits usually front the media at some point, so I expect Motlop and McKenzie to appear in the coming weeks.

Was it in order of importance given Lindsay Thomas was first? ;)

Motlop was at KFC and Rockliff was in rehab nursing a sore shoulder, the ladies AFL starts sooner so Watts the natural choice...Thomas had to duck out. ;)
