Box of shapes

T
Anything packaged such as shapes and chips are fine worthy.

Is it true Pirate, that you were only getting a game at SHOCS the last few years of your career due to the fact your mum’s scones with jam & whipped cream were so popular at afternoon tea with teammates & opponents alike?

I was first picked before the scones came along.

The advantage of the baked goods was perhaps more favourable umpiring.

We had a fat umpire that used to request our home games as we had someone make the most exquisite rolls and sanga's imaginable, it wasn't even a rule in the comp but we'd more often than not invite the opposition over, I did tell the ump on the way off after he turned down two plumb in front's that he was not to help himself to any of the food.

No Booney, he has no idea. Been terrible at his reviews for a long time.

Both of them this match have not looked anywhere near out.

He needs to consult bowler bit more maybe, Starc was not confident of the last one.

Watch everyone complain when we miss out on an obvious wicket soon because we have wasted our reviews, only got themselves to blame.

He often reminds me of the smug rich kid at school that would buy everyone lunches so they'd rally around him and laugh at his jokes.

Love his unconventional batting and his grit but there's one aspect that irks me, he's a very different captain to any predecessor in my era.

DRS was brought in for the "howler" decisions. It is being used more often than not for gut feels and guessing which is to the detriment of a side when a howler cannot be reviewed because of previous unsuccessful challenges.

I love it when we get challenged on our home decks, would love it even more if the selectors took note, Warner would've been more chance of jagging a wicket than Marsh, he'd only resumed bowling a week or so ago too.

Bairstow gives his helmet a little "headbutt" as he celebrates his 100.

The irony of the bloke dropped to make way for M Marsh just took that catch...
