He was certainly classified as an in at Fitzroy - they had based a lot of their off season planning around him after he had committed to 2018 with them as an A grader. So yes, he’s classified as an out and a very big one.

So just C grade then, or leaving?

Reckon you could throw a blanket over AL, BL, PH, TOS and FIT, suspect they'll all be quite close and competitive, perhaps even include ROS in that group.

Too many unknowns at the moment.

Greenacres have recruited half of St Pauls, but that's an average D7 side and D6 is a big jump up, all it'll do is ensure they have 2 full sides each week.
Salisbury West have lost too much I think, although have picked up Nic Lynch from Ingle Farm. No depth last year, rely heavily on their U18's.

Heard Rosewater have picked up a couple & they were a decent side last season. Div 5 was extremely close albeit extremely inconsistent also. Rosewater will be super competitive.

they were very competitive but have lost frank and lockwood at this stage..williams?

Frank 2 games, N Williams 4, Lockwood a loss but not a void we cant fill.

The first rule of West Croydon is: - You do not talk about fight club.

Calm down. To My knowledge Haniford was never a "long term" strategy for the club. At best he would have been a 2 year deal. That's AT BEST. Quite frankly i doubt the club could have afforded him after that.

Definitely a solid out for us won't deny that. he was 100% committed for season 2018, as possible Mid/CHB, however his partner got a job in woop woop.... is what it is.

Sam and his C grade, was a short term strategy for the club in terms of his talent and player pulling power to begin to change the dynamic of the playing group, and bring in fresh faces from suburbs and clubs FFC had previously never had a look in with. Some are going back to their old clubs, some retiring, and some staying on. The best thing is they take good memories from the club for the year, and that filters back to other people...who may or may not come out of the woodwork...

and Some people thought it was going to rain flags galore ......

Oh and bedge.... whats the second rule of fight club?

There's no one left at Fitzroy anyway Bedge - so wouldn't have the same effect as most rivalry games..

Just reading back you said 14 out plus Hanniford and 6 (announced ) as well as 2 cricketers signing on, so that's 6 out really. Doesn't really equate to no one.

Spoken like someone who believes that he and his mates were the be all and end all of a club.....

All Clubs are bigger then the sum of "players" who last a single year...

The list of players who came and went, the vast majority were from the same group....

So in reality, the actual core of the club playing group is still there building away.

That attitude and outlook on it is probably why you’ve seen over 50 A graders leave the club in the past four years. All the best to Fitzroy but they need a shake up at the top in order to get things back on track.

50 sounds like a big number.

Can you name them?
