Geewiz Glenunga must have lost a sh*t load of players for them to be this low. If they've retained their squad WITHOUT even adding to it, would be very surprised if they didn't finish TOP three..

They have lost no one and from what ive been told have picked up another ruckman. Will def be around the mark.

Yeh.. it's just based on them coming up a division, their lack of depth (had a pretty poor ressies team in 2017) and haven't heard of too many signings.

I have a mate who already has $100 on Glenunga and given his mate the field.
He is across the ins and outs and assures me that Simon Glastonbury bloke has tried to recruit several new guns and will land some big fish and have the sooks botching and moaning again.

I don’t think they will be underestimated. Had a very good team last season and im sure they will be even better having all played a season together now.

probably around end of Jan at this stage, due to quite a few clubs this year requiring special fixtures due to ground availability

CLG bottom? No chance & stronger than last year. Beat Edwardstown, Kilburn, GC & Salisbury last year. Lost 5 games by under 16 points aswell.

Agree, they have recruited well and had a good list in 2017. One things for sure this is going to be a very tight and competitive division next year with not much between top and bottom. 7 wins could get you relegated.

I reckon this will be the div that will throw up all sorts of upsets and unpredictability throughout the year and will be harder to pick than a fresh scab. Near on impossible to do a ladder but there are 3 big questions in the div from the Fev.

1. Is the self appointed mayor of forum town the Shrek and his club all just hype or are they a genuine Premiership hope. I think their years of pulling flags out their ass are done. I think they will be in div 4 in 2018 & 19
2. How will Thommo go at Eastern Park and what effect will he have on the club and recruits. If Dwight becomes a fortress again where they are 8 and 1 or even 7 and 2 they are likely to be in the promotional mix
3. Glenunga basically toyed with div 5 and were labelled by some as the most impressive div 5 unit seen. They will be strong but tested in div 4. How well will they respond to challenges at a higher level? You list off their top 8 names and they are the best in the div. if they are all up and running they will only be in Div 4 for a year

Kilburn pulled 1 flag out their ass in 2011 coming from 5th. 2012 they were clearly the best team in D3 by the length of the straight and 2015 they finished second after the minor round.

So would we Shrek. New coach who is recruiting well, we've kept 99% of both the A's and B's and expect to be a fair bit stronger than we were this year.
It's going to be a tough division though so who knows, won't be much between top and bottom with all clubs a chance.

It'll be interesting to see how long the new coach lasts?
Your committee is in for an interesting year. Going on past history.

Not sure if you are the right man to ask but is there any truth to the rumour that Andy Graham rocked up to the SA Footballer magazine end of year show at the Hackney last night. That's the rumour. Anyway let him know the show is in Feb. Fair stitch up by Luke Hosie if true.

Glenunga the most impressive unit div 5 has seen? I have seriously heard it all now. Covered easily by Pultney, Plympton, Golden Grove and i’d throw both ours and Woodville Souths 2013 teams also. They were the premiers and a good team but seriously??

The last 2 seasons div 5 hasn’t been close to the standard it’s been in recent years. Para Hills, CLG, North Heaven & Westminster were a class above.
