Pretty sure he played an international, either T20 or 50 over. How he gets picked is beyond me, there are better regular club bowlers in Sydney cricket.

Just looking to get some tickets for the Strikers/Renegades game at Etihad in a few weeks time. FFS - 2 adults & 1 concession in GA is $62, or thereabouts. That's what it cost me for day 2 of the test match at the G. 40 overs of 2nd XI blokes teeing off is the same price as 90 overs of ahem "elite players" (Marsh bros, and about 6 poms excluded), no doubt $8.80 for a mid strength in a plastic cup too.

I've read somewhere that Abbott has bowled 64 balls in a final over for the Sixers, conceded over 13 runs per 6 balls and lost the game 3 times......maybe give someone else the ball for the final over?

Thats pretty atrocious for a so called "gun"in Mark Waughs eyes.
Im starting to wonder if he gets looked after a bit in the system because of the Hughes tragedy.
Pretty sure anyone else putting up his figures would be dropped. He should be dropped next game for what he has produced so far this BBL

I actually don't mind him compared to our channel 9 regulars, but that's not saying much.

I don't mind the commentators too much on the BBL, but the most annoying parts for me are generally the repetitive nature of their comments, particularly:

* Twitter references - particularly if you tag Gilly you pick up thousands more followers.
* Cant believe how much thought goes into the game these days
* Throwback to when Ponting was coaching IPL
* Leg spinners have been very effective this year
* Paying each other out about their clothing

I reckon these lines would get thrown out at least 10 times a match! Particularly the top two, I reckon Howie threw out about the thought into the game every 30 seconds last night.

I also hate when they refers to shots as "Smashed that", something about it just sounds amateur, or 6's that go 70m as "Wow that's HUUUUUGE"

Went to the NYE game and had a great time.
They did a great job with the freebies and the stuff/games out the back of the members area for the kids.

Thinking of going to the game on Tuesday but does anyone know if the kids stuff was a one off for NYE game?
Do they give out wigs and kids glasses etc. at each game?
Do they have the blowup kids stuff to jump around on each game out the back of the members?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
