All thanks to shows like ******* MasterChef. Everything, no matter how functional and mundane, now gets to have its own piece of jargon.
If we have to have it, then I guess you could say @JK has had a couple of recent dining experiences where he was well within his rights to 'plate down' his meal all over the manager.
