Booney wrote:On the morning commute I'm a hopeless people watcher, I find myself when stopped at lights trying to take a peek into the morning of everyone around me. Some people you see just staring blankly ahead with the kill me now face, women of all ages applying spack filler to crevasses in their face, people sucking down the morning coffee, some munching on their toast. I'm in full voyeur mode on my way to work. ( The only time, please ).
There is, however, one young lass in a red Ford Festiva that I must see 3 or 4 mornings a week around the same spot along Grange/Holbrooks Road intersection, almost every morning she's singing away to what ever is making it's way through her speakers. You can see she's starting her day right.
Well, this morning I pull* up alongside the red Festiva, she's an attractive 20 something, brunette, looks to be dressed for office work. I've got my windows down enjoying the fresh air, I'm listening to some Powderfinger, I turn my tunes down as I pull* alongside to hear what she's tuning into.
Lump sat alone in a boggy marsh
totally emotionless except for her heart
mud flowed up into lumps pajama's
she totally confused all the passing pirahnas
She's lump, She's lump
Nice.
