As catastrophic as the current incumbent?

She's just another neoliberal fanatic anyway who would sell out America's working class just as quickly as Trump has.
Not sure she would lower unemployment like it has in this term

US employment has been steadily increasing since 2013.

It won't have taken long, but if true, politics in one of the world's most powerful nations will have been reduced to a contest of television celebrities.

Hopefully common sense prevails and those running the election will simply play re-runs of 'The Apprentice' up against Oprah's talk show, with the TV ratings determining who wins the presidency.

Oprah following on from this current fool would be a disaster.
Self-serving pile of trash, just pretends that social justice is her passion.

She'd be just as clueless as Trump is. Another unlicensed driver steering the bus.

She'd be more likely to be impeached than Trump would.

She'd try to give everybody everything and the country would be broke in 6 months.

Yeah but who's money's she gonna be using to keep people happy.

You get free health care!
You get free schooling!
You get a tax cut!

Oh wait, who's paying for all this free shit?

She won't keep the masses happy by being a competent President. Her campaign would be run a lot like Bernies was. Socialism doesn't work.

Trump confounds me. I wonder about his fitness for office, and the personality traits needed in a President. He is easy to loathe and you wonder what will happen next.

Then I look at all his liberal elite haters still foaming at the mouth that the country dared to elect him in the first place. Maybe he isn't so bad if Hollywood loathe him so much. Hollywood's moral compass is not something to admire.

He does have a few things to point to, like his tax reform, the economy is performing well despite the gloom and doom prophets, and unemployment in the USA continues to decline (although the decline started before Trump took over)

For all the rubbish that goes with it he might actually achieve a few things worth achieving. We can only hope so.

You are on point about the tax reform. However the economy and decreasing unemployment is actually responsible from years of work by the previous admin. However the tax reform a has assisted and the US are economically moving better.

His twitter rants actually interest me. I find them rather interesting to read, it is almost like he just dumps his thoughts into twitter and you and the world get a glimpse of his thought.

Then I remind myself hes president of the US and his decisions can impact the world and then the interest turns to wonder.......I wonder whats next......

Is this good or bad. Not sure really because what do we really know about whats going on in good old US of A? I mean really going on.

Their economy is thriving because of Obama. Won’t know the effect of what trump does for a bit still.

His Twitter rants are always interesting but as a leader it’s a disgrace and dangerous.

The self praise, his continual attack on anyone who doesn’t fit his agenda is very similar to a dictator.

The quicker he is out of office the better.

Yeahhhh Oprah is one of the wealthiest people on the planet, not a traditional tenet of Socialism.

https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2015/may/09/oprah-winfrey-neoliberal-capitalist-thinkers

Whilst the idea of Oprah v Trump in the ultimate battle of good and evil seems like fun, this shit isnt a ******* comic book.

The American Progressive movement needs to convince the swathe of white working poor in the rural rust belt what's good for them. Oprah 'aint going to do that.

Sadly, other than Bernie, I don't know who would be viable. Sherrod Brown is great on paper but a bit meh in personality. Cory Booker is OK but is Obama lite. I can't see Ohio voting for Kamala Harris.

Slim pickings.

The Greens policies are all financially sustainable, they're just paid for by things no-one wants to give up or be taxed on.
