Another money making scheme for the SMA....there are going to be thousands of those cards floating around or lost with $$ on them, unless you buy something for exactly how much is on the card there will always be a balance on everyone of them.

Not to mention the $'s saved by not having to handle cash.

Man right behind me decided he needed to commentate every ball....badly.
Beer was cold and plentiful
Some of the entertainment was naff (TMNT)
Benny thought the atmosphere was good, I thought it was subdued and expected more buzz
Plenty of eye candy

Love the Adelaide Oval, absolute picture

Would I go back for a T20? Probably only if the family wanted to. Would I go to a Test or Shield game certainly

Most fans around us know nothing?

Wouldn’t that be similar to going to a Crows game? ;)

So if I have got this right... the FINAL of the BBL season coincides with the BBL Series between NZ, OZ and England. So lets assume Carey and Stanlake make that squad we wont have them for the Final. And Rashid is already a no-show with his Afghanistan duties.....

Wah.... I know its just a Mickey Mouse comp, but that just pulled the rug out from under me and any potentially escalating interest given our current Top spot.

Eddie Maguire WAS quite vocal over here before the BBL season started about how the Melbourne Stars loose all their best players when the final come around. Well he doesn't have that problem this year, no finals, and Maxwell, Faulkner & co aren't getting picked either..... everyone wins -

Brisbane Heat 73
Abbott 4/11 off his 4 overs , now taken 34 wickets since the start of last season
If he keeps this up, could he play International cricket soon ?

Fricken hope not, another one that gets a free ride.
Has been really bad in more games than he has been good in, goes for alot of runs, tends to pick up wickets because he bowls at the death.
