The Libs have a new tactic it seems. Keep a low profile, let out a few policies but just keep Marshall quiet.

Honestly that might just come off lol

It's 3 months from an election this is precisely the time they sharpen the knives.

Was interesting to see Weatherill talking so openly about the conservative vote being split by Xenophon. Port Augusta Mayor Sam Johnson has quit the Libs and is now running as an SA Best member.

I would have thought Weatherill would be best to just let that happen and benefit from it.

Surely they have to fight off the threat Xenophon poses. If SA Best take enough of the conservative vote off the Libs we might find Premier Jay for SA keeps his streak going.

I was speaking to a Liberal staff who's been seconded to the campaign team on Sunday.
He didn't give me any great details about the campaign, but there will be announcements "soon" and he was quite bullish about the Libs winning, even with the Xenophon threat.

Underestimating the X threat, perhaps?

Still yet to hear many policy announcements from either of the opposition "parties" to date.

I did a Reachtel survey last night

I thought they were neutral but not this one

Lots of questions about Nick X
Lots of questions about the "Govt Power Plan" and the "Govt Owned Power Plant"

They were very leading questions designed to push negative towards Xenophon and positive to the Govt about their "power plan"

Shouldn't need anything to push negativity towards Xenophon, it should happen naturally. Does a good enough job on his own.

I believe the current Mayor or Port Adelaide will make an announcement on his stance soon.

I did one about a fortnight ago.

They basically should have said this is being done on behalf of the ALP.

Just had a poll phone call an hour ago.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Unfortunately I can't source a recent image that does it justice, but the size of Kyam Maher's afro at the moment is the most impressive thing about this election campaign.

Watching the "news" the other night and Mrs Boon, who has a zero interest level in politics, asked "Who is the Disco Stu on the box"?

Yep, that’s it, although I reckon it’s now even a bit boofier. Fingers crossed by the time polling day comes around he’s got a comb sticking out of it or he’s wearing a doo-rag.
