Wasn't sure whether he'd played Europa and whether that counts?

UEFA Champions League regulations state that clubs can register one player for the knockout rounds who "has been fielded in a UEFA club competition group stage match for another club in the current season" as long as said player has not played "in the same competition for another club," or for "another club that is currently in the same competition."

Can add players between group stage and knockout stage which is now as long as they haven’t played in the same comp

He’ll fit nicely at RB in Mourinhos 0-0-10-1 formation

You just worry about holding on for 6th :)
Let’s just hope Alexis has the same effect on us as that last Arsenal bloke that came over did ;)

That MU are second is a poor reflection on the standard of the league ATM.

The other young lad, won't even try to spell his name, from Spurs on loan, looked pretty good when he came on. Deserved a point today at the very least
If United are the 2nd best team in the league then FFS the EPL is a long way short of the Spanish

Nkoudou has excellent potential.
I cant comment on the respective leagues as Spurs only smashed Real, we'd have to face a decent side like Barca or Atletico to make a fair judgement.

5 EPL sides in the last 16 of the CL as opposed to 3 from Spain suggests the EPL is going ok. Spurs dismantled Real and both Liverpool and Chelsea finished ahead of Spanish sides in the group stage.
Athletico who are currently second in Spain couldn’t even get out of the group stage. I do agree that we aren’t flash but it seems to me that clubs appear to be a lot more even across several of the big Euro leagues

MU extend Mourinhos contract until 2020.

PR firm would be popping the champagne corks,

Really happy with that, another couple of decent ins in the summer window and hopefully we can be back competing for the title again. Still need a LB and another decent mid to be able to get close to City

Love this.

Speaking at his news conference earlier on Thursday - before his new contract was announced - Mourinho hailed the club's recent signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

He said the Chilean had moved from a "fantastic club to a giant club" in the swap deal that saw Armenia midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan head the other way.

Any opportunity.
