Does anyone know if you change your apple password account, do you lose all your photos of your phone? I can’t think of the proper name, but it’s the one you buy your apps of and iCloud (think)

back up your phone to your computer using itunes, so you have that in case things muck up.


are your photos backed up in icloud? make sure they are all on your phone, so turn "optimise phone storage" off

then, im 90% sure you just change the icloud account for a new one, and when it asks you whether you want to delete data you select no.

then it should start backing up to the new icloud account.


another thing you can try - if you have windows - download the icloud app and that should also sync your photos to it (if they are in icloud. then you can just copy them to another folder just in case)

i did this with my wife's phone - though that was to set up a family sharing setup rather than a completely separate account. still should be the same though.

Thanks for that from me too Benny. I need to back my phone up this weekend as work are rolling out new phones for the sales crew next week. I had NFI how to do it. Was just gonna wing it really!
