Lloyd Pope takes 8/35 to lead AUS U19's to qtr final win over England.

England were 0/47... enter Pope..

AUS 127 (Sangha 58) d ENG 96 (Pope 8/35)

Heard that a 14 year old may make his A grade debut at Kensington after making a century not out in the B's.

Surely the smart thing to do would be to cancel all cricket this Saturday and to play the 1 day semi on Sunday, make the Saturday game a white ball 1 day game next week. Amateur cricketers surely can't be expected to field for 150 overs in 42 degrees over 2 days.

Totally agree. That's exactly what I would do. That way only eight teams play on Sunday, and maximum you spend fielding is 50 overs. Any team who has to field for 96 overs on Saturday, then back up the next day would be screwed!

Is actually the quarter finals this Sunday (not semis). They can't afford to put them back another week (already gone back one week), as the teams that keep winning could end up with four Sundays in a row (QF, SF, 20/20 GF and then One Day GF).

The 2 day comp is the Premier competition. Play Saturday and move the one day comp to the following Sunday. If they can move it back to allow certain clubs to have there futures players available then surely then can move it to the following Sunday when there’s no clash.

Some clubs playing Tuesday as well. Big ask to play 3 of 4 Days in the heat.

If that's the case, I agree, definitely play. Last I heard was yesterday when they were saying 37, 40, 42, 42 which I think is a bit different, but if they have modified that back then all good.

Allow for extra drinks breaks?

Being A and B grade, you'd expect the players are a lot fitter, should be able to get through a days play in 42, and no Sunday cricket helps.

The lads will have earned their beers (or Gatorade) by stumps. :)

Well done to the SA Under 15 girls who made the final this year for the first time in 14 years, they unfortunately went down to a super classy ACT/NSW Country but it was a tremendous feat to make it to the GF at Gliderol Stadium yesterday.

Correct - the BOM.

Annoys me when people look at their phones for the weather forecast or whatever, or find some random website that predicts different temps haha.

FWIW bom.gov.au

38 - FRI
42 - SAT
42 - SUN

That's improved from the 41 degree forecast for Friday earlier in the week also.
