I didn't think anyone had less of an understanding of the review system, than Shane Watson.

Then I saw Virat Kohli.

Not sure which was worse. The review for LBW which hit the middle of the bat in the 1st test, or his own LBW review in the 2nd innings of the 2nd test.

Third and final test between South Africa and India starts this evening. Should be another belter. India have never lost a game at the Wanderers and never been white washed in South Africa, so they have a bit to play for. The pitch is expected to favour the quicks even more than the pitch for the first test at Newlands. South Africa will probably drop Maharaj and play four quicks. Will be interesting to see India's selection. Forget about the BBL for the next two nights and watch some big boy cricket.

Was just looking on the cricket app to find when the third test started, looking forward to it. Will be nice to see South Africa whitewash India.

Having cricket on everynight this summer has been great, test matches take priority over BBL every day of the week though.

India are batting first, 2/13 after 9.2 overs, the kind of start you want to see! The ball is doing a fair bit, swing and seam, Philander looks like he going to take a wicket every delivery.

Pujara currently on the way to a world record for the most number of balls faced to get off the mark
Currently faced 45 balls for 0* n.o.
The record is 77

He isn't even looking for a run. If he doesn't pass 50 it is a big failure.

Awful fielding by philander, very easy catch that. India should be 4 down and in all sorts but maybe thats the luck they need to get them going.

Saffers miss a couple of golden opportunities. Could have had Pujara for 48 ball duck but don't refer the LBW then drop Kohli

Not saying you should serve up a pitch with this much assistance every Test match but boy oh boy it makes it so more interesting to watch than the bore fest pitches served up by Aussie curators

It is ridiculously good to watch and keeps you interested with you feeling like you need to watch every ball, unlike as you say, the bore fest pitches we've had here.

Anyone who is old enough to remember the cheating Saffers of 1970 would barrack for the Russians were they to play cricket, against the Saffers.

48 years on and their cheating tactics still stick in the craw.

A couple of classics were when they presented a green top pitch. The captains tossed. Lawry won the toss and sent the Saffers in. They then proceded to shave all grass off the pitch making it as dead as a dodo. Those days didn't have match referees and the like, so they were able to get away with it.

Then there was the case of my cricketing hero, Ian Chappell, cutting a ball to the gully where Tiger Lance claimed the catch even though it looked as though it was a half volley.. Chappell said "did you catch it, Tiger". Lance repled "Ya, Chappelli, Ya." So Chappell as any cricketer of the time would have done, walked off. At after play drinks that night Lance said to Chappell, you only asked me if I caught it, not if it bounced first.

Kohli might be painful but no other country has blatantly cheated like the Saffers.
