Flicking around on Fox tonight and as usual there was F'all on, but thankfully jagged Good Will Hunting which hadn't seen for a while. Great movie, and it struck me more than ever how much the world lost one of the best when Robin Williams left us, absolute genius - Need to re-visit the Fisher King again now.

Saw it again on Foxtel a few weeks back. Probably not everyone's cup of tea but a fantastic film IMHO.

One of my fave movies. I'm surprised you haven't seen it for a while. It's on free to air TV every 4 weeks.
So you've seen everything have you?

You should, has less ads than Foxtel with the right app. I try to avoid any pay tv station but sometimes its the only option for some local sport.

Yeah must admit, I've been a FOXTEL junkie out of habit for so long now, but I'm at the end of my tether with it.

Just back on Good Will Hunting for a sec, great scene when he goes for the NSA job interview:

Watched Terminator 2 again for the millionth time last night, geez Linda Hamilton scrubbed up well in it (and played a great psycho). Gotta get the kids onto some other Arnie classics now.

Watched “American Made” with Tom Cruise last night, worth a look especially if you’re into “Narcos” and the Medellin drug cartel thingy, the story dovetails quite significantly with Columbia and Escobar’s mates.

Took my eldest daughter to see Ferdinand on Friday. We loved it

War Machine via Netflix

Didnt mind it....but coming off watching The Mountain Between Us may have inflated this rating. I didnt mind the obvious jokes that you saw coming.

Saw Jumanji at the movies on Friday.
We went for the kids - who loved the first one (which I hadn't seen until we watched it with them) - and I expected that I'd seen all the laughs in the trailer, not the case. I had some genuine, actual LOL moments and some nice nods to the past.
The Rock is an under rated comedian and Jack Black does okay, as usual. Also, there are some really long legs and an amazingly flat stomach throughout.
The only bad moment was explaining away a dick joke to my 9 yo daughter.
I'd definitely watch it again, though.

Made the kids watch School of Rock last weekend. Again they loved it and were up and dancing throughout. A nice part was my eldest recognising a Ramones song and pointing it out to me, while my youngest recognised Iggy Pop's name on the blackboard featuring the rock n roll DNA. Proud moment ;)

Finally, I had CHIPs on whilst doing some work at home the other day. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it for what it was - an easy to watch comedy with some nice motorcycle porn. Low expectations helped me enjoy this. I will say, it could have had some more of those sweeping California highway shots that I remember from when I was a kid. A once-watch film.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Watched Chips with the missus the other night, we were both tired and just wanted something light. We also headed in with little to zero expectation and we're pleasantly surprised by how many laughs it delivered. Similar thing with "Why Him" not long after

Hard to believe it was 40 years ago I saw the first one when it came out with my Dad, was nice seeing it today with my son like the last one and Rogue One.
I think I'll be in tears in two years time after the last one but it's set up to be a ripper.

There’s another 3 planned after that

War for the Planet of the Apes.

Had been delaying watching as I really had feared for the worst. I wasn't a fan of the remake of the original. But i did enjoy this one!
