Do bicycles have weight limits?

I wanna buy a bike so I can go riding with my son (in a child bike seat), but it's been a few years since I've owned a bike and my weight is a lot higher now currently weigh 117kg).

I don't want to buy something then find out i'm too fat for it lol.

You'd be safe up to 150kg's, just give up on exercise if you exceed that.
