Unless Hobart roll out South Roads section 8 team then They are through. This ground is the same size as the MCG- Good luck chasing that total.

And 1.30pm start in Perth where the final will no doubt be!

I thought the same before watching the Canes go off early.

Renegades and Strikers look like they will be playing to host the Grand Final on Sunday.

If he was from WA he would be making his international debut in the next few weeks.

I was worried about the effect of us 'changing horses midstream' and moving from the familiar confines of the WACA for a crucial match.

I thought the same about this decision. I cant see why the move was made from the WACA, where the Scorchers had become dominant, to the new stadium, where it became a 50/50 contest.
Sure, play the Australia/England 1 dayer there, but it made more sense for the scorchers to play out the BBL season at the WACA to me.

Cricket Australia wouldn't have allowed them not to play there.

T20 is all about $$$$$$$

Plus cricket Australia will be loving the scorchers don't have a monopoly on the tournament, that is also better for business

4.10 start on Sunday be it here or in Melbourne.
Going to be interesting if it's here as the basketball is on that afternoon too and the SMA provide staff for both the basketball and cricket.

You go to the wrong bar! I'm amazed how quick and efficient my bar is, not surprisingly people come from the hill which is two bars away to get served there quite often. I swear we serve 90% of the eastern side, well the smart ones anyway. ;)

Please pardon me (I have not been to the new & improved AO) is the bar set up not like the MCG & Etihad, where Beers are pre-poured, you select your poison & pay on the way out?

Nope they pour as you order....... well they do in the members at least.
The MCG has that 8 pour machine which churns them out.

They certainly do churn out the beers at "rush hour" when things are slower, the beers can look a little RS if they have been sitting there for a while. Fresh is Best.

Yeah agreed, I try to avoid pre pouring them outside of "peak hour" and more often than not I'm on a till as I can do two at the same time and get more people through. Some of our younger staff don't quite have the nouse I do, I quite often cringe at some of the beers that come through the tills, at least top them up and give them a head* before giving them out!
