Not based there at the moment, been moved back into the depot. But in saying that i was the poor bastard who started work at 5am this morning to cut the greens!

Mawsons looks pretty dry of you get off the fairway as i drive past. Its hard enough playing from the rough when its green grass

Yep Mawsons is fairly dry ATM if you don’t stay on the fairway, very hard ground runs well although if you fly in hard it’s a bit of a lottery which way you’ll bounce if you miss the fairway. With this being said fairways and greens are ok.

I was impressed with Regency greens today with some pretty tough pin positions.

I played a ripping bloke today I think his name was Russel Martin been around the club for years what I can gather.

Monthly medal this morning

Driving is vastly improved, long Irons were ok, short irons absolutely disgusting but putted very well made my score look far far better than what it actually felt like.

87 off the bat for nett 73. Felt worse than that if you get what I mean.

Putt for dough as they say. My chipping is crap too, putting comes and goes. Playing a corporate day in about 6 weeks, better get a practice round in before then.

Played off 25 Monday, 24 Thursday and 23 Friday. Not the best way for the handicap to be heading leading into holden scramble next weekend lol

Meant to tank it out the other way for when Scrambles and club champs loom up

Similar to Carey.

87 off stick for 72.
At the start I would've taken a 90 in those ridiculous windy conditions which didnt stop until we hit 18..... so the arvo groups had an easier time.

Driving was really good again. Some holes really launched the ball into the slipstream and watch it go....

Short game was ok.

Putting....oh man.....lag putts were fairly well on point.
But missed some very gettable Par chances....at least 7. Of which i should have sunk atleast 4.....

So overall im happy with how the day went.

Div 2 Pennants at Marion today and we got pants 6-2

I lost 1 down. Our number 1 lost 10-8  and number 3 lost 8-7 that’s a couple off ass kickings. In there defense they’re off scratch and 4.

What pisses me off about losing 1 down is it was totally my own fault. 2up after 9, 3 putted 2 holes (12 and 16) and had 3 shots to get out of a bunker no one blame but myself. Played poorly.

Home v Nth Lakes next Sunday.
