Wouldn't that mean yours isn't the best and instant is?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. My coffee out of a proper machine is god awful but the missus swears the instant coffee I make for her is the best. I'm sure she goes overboard in the praise just so she doesn't have to get out of bed on the weekends and make it herself though.

Mind you one lady last night at the pub asked for just hot water in a mug, I did that out of the proper coffee machine and apparently I did that OK.

Name and shame the RTO!

It's not so much the RTO, I made great coffees there. Most machines are different and take a bit of practise, I only made one at the Sussex in July last year and haven't touched a proper machine from then till last night, I'll get there as most of my shifts are in the gaming room. It appears a pretty cheap version too as doesn't even have a button for a cup full, just an on and off button. They are a bit fun though I must admit, bit of an art to them.

The State Library has a huge book sale on today, cheap as chips and some top stuff. I had to reign myself in with only about a dozen purchases.

Pity I missed this, sounds like a good opportunity to grab some good material. Is it a regular event?

Not sure, a mate said he heard it on the radio yesterday and popped down. I limited myself to 12 purchases which cost me a grand total of $14. A few cricket books, a couple of war, couple of politics, couple of history. And a Spike Milligan Rommel book which I am about to have a look at. Keep an eye out on the State Library website my Portuguese comrade, it had this weekends sale on there.

Cheers, sounds like the kind of thing I could spend all day and my money on.

Sounds like you bagged a bumper crop. Spike Milligan's book are ******* hilarious (as I'm sure you already appreciate), enjoy.
