Heading home from the Warradale now after 7 hours of drinking.
How ******* biased were those shithouse commentators towards New England? Americans hate underdogs.
Great result, the clearly better team won.

They dont hate underdogs, they just hate Philly. Would guess that the majority of people over there would of been supporting the Pats today

Not the Yanks I've met.
It's just a mentality they have which is the opposite to ours, at the end of the day I expected their commentators to be more professional. It's Rocky's town FFS!

The Eagles and Cowboys often top the list of most hated sports teams in the US

For me it would be Chicago and LA, maybe San Fran and the New York teams too.
Too many poms follow New England shallowly, hate that.
Love Philly, Cincinnati and New Orleans. Dont mind Texas and Miami too.
Only Philly has Rocky's steps though and out of the Yanks I've met they were easily the best.

Channel 7 commentators?

NBC had Al Michaels & Cris Collinsworth - they weren't biased

Didnt watch Channel 7, it was on ESPN. Worst commentsry ever, it was a couple of yanks, they were both speechless after the game, never heard anything as biased in my whole life, whole pub was in agreeance including Pat fans. Either that or they had no knowledge of the game.

I agree they weren’t biased. NBC do Sunday Night Football better than any other network do their own time slots.

However, I didn’t poll everyone on the gas at a watering hole.

Colinsworth copping heaps in America for his call. Apparantley he doesn't hate the Eagles , he just hates it when touchdown calls go their way!
Unlike the Pats recent run leading up to the Superbowl.
Its a pity the guy was a Bengals player, mind you even Bengals fans have had enough of him despite him playing in 2 superbowls for us.

Packers for me. Like the Clarets in many ways, smallest town competing by a country mile. One of the original teams with great history. And probably the best supported Club in the league per head of pop for Green Bay. Community owned, no individual wealthy backer.
Hate Vikings, don’t like NE particularly, don’t like Steelers particularly.

Surprised to find any Brits follow NE considering the Club name and mascot represent the Continental army.
Bloody upstarts.

Great game and result.

NBC was very good last night/ this morning
Especially as it was on BBC so no adverts :D

Pats have always had the rub of the green. They are the Eagles of the NFL who happened to be playing the Eagles of the NFL.

Why do Americans find the need to destroy their city after winning a championship?

I understand setting fire to Philly would be an improvement!
