That’s as fast as the current NBN will allow.

The bigger question is whether those speeds are actually achievable.

And to answer that question you need to know what technology connects your house to the internet

Fibre to the node - 80% of houses, bad, max you will get is more like 50/60

HFC - Foxtel cables - can get max speed but it is shared between everyone on your street so may slow down in peak times

Fibre to the premises - the best you can get - what the labor govt tried to instal to everyone before Malcolm Turnbulls mess became the way to not do it

According to Einstein and his general theory of relativity, when you move at a fast speed, your personal time slows down with respect to the environment in which you move. In other words, everything else speeds up. So pop out to your car and do a few laps of the block as fast as you can. If you could manage to approach the speed of light then you'd find that the day went very quickly; but at typical vehicular speeds you might be able to shave a small fraction of a second from your day.

I have used both Adam and Nuskope wireless in the past and i wouldnt recommend them - too much slowdown in peak times

Not sure about uniti but if i had to guess it would be similar.

Depends on what you do, I don't think FC is a gamer or uploader / downloader of any great amounts, probably just some surfing the interwebs.

I've looked into which NBN plan to go with and our Optus with Fetch Box + upgrade pack 4 looks to be one of the better plans. Jnr Boon is a gamer so during peak times we'll need all the juice we can get so the rest of us can Netflix / browse etc.

I've never had an issue with Internode in the 6 years I've been a customer.

I've not had an issue with Adam in the 14 years with them, not even the change to NBN

Brodlach junior is a gamer and has no issues either

Anyone but Optus, awful, awful, awful. Ive had internode and iprimus recently and was happy with both actually get a faster speed with iprimus for some reason (and we get it ridiculously cheap). I stream high definition shows no prob and that's just Adsl.

Is there anywhere in Adelaide that a bloke can buy a JOCKSTRAP?

None of the department stores has 'em, not even Rebel Sports.

You'll probably need to go somewhere like IDM sports, near Le Cornu
