Wrong Steele - Dene Steele is coaching the B Grade - smaller midfielder with the sleeve tattoo on his arm.. Dean Steele is the aboriginal midfield/forward aka Wongy.

Both can seriously play though.

Under_Scrutiny wrote:Interesting to see if Brahma uphold the 3 transfers only to 1 club rule

Not sure they'll be able to - could be wrong, but I think Cosenza was originally from Units, same with the Hall brothers and Fuller.

Correct, I played 100-150 junior games there from under 9's to 15's before I made my way to Eastern Park.

Dean Steele also played juniors at Central United, the other three came from the units last year to Brahma but we have not see them yet so don't know what they are up to.

Haven't heard much from West Croydon since the break, would have thought they would be close to premiership favorites. How are the new recruits gelling with last years playing group?

Of all the divs, this seems the easiest to pick. Elizabeth v West Croydon in the big dance looks a dead set certainty.

Probably wouldn't be drawing a line through Rosewater either.

I think Brahma and Fitzroy will be well off the pace, purely judging on in's and out's..

Some could argue that West Croydon wont be as dominant as it appears from the outside - the Glenunga group didn't have a great impact at Fitzroy, so moving to West Croydon wont guarantee results.. however, Beaty is a quality player, if his brother is anything like him that's a good pick up, and O'Toole is good. Ben Stokes and Jacob Sumner the two biggest recruits IMO. The rest is just fluff.

I wonder if any more players make the move from Brahma down Frost Road and over the train tracks before round 1.

Seems to be a common theme between the two, don't have to buy new shorts either.

Think you're probably right, but reckon Fitzroy have done reasonably well replacing those who have left with players of equal or better quality.

Brahma Lodge on the other hand, apart from Dylan Chaffey who is returning from a knee recon, don't really look to have replaced what they've lost, and their B grade whilst reasonable recent years don't have A grade standard players.

I think Trinity will improve this season.
Good numbers at training too.
They're also having a C grade again, which means greater depth.

You'd know more than me then, I'm only going off a few bits and pieces I've seen on Facebook about recruits etc.
