Who'd he play for?

I played on it in 2001 and 2002.

9-a-side Scott Hodges Cup....I was a pretty big deal back then.

I played numerous mini-league games on it through the early 80's. My Uncle's best mate was the Mini-League coordinator and we'd sit up in the back row of the Williams Family Stand with the smell of linament coming up through the gaps in the floor and wall.

Often they'd be short and little ( I was, once upon a time ) Boon would always be there prepared with shorts, socks and boots. In fact I wore my full kit quite often, lace up guernsey and all. I didn't play many away games as his role diminished as the home teams coordinator took over.

I wore an onion on my belt at the time.

Good times. In those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Gimme five bees for a quarter," you'd say.

Mid July
The Power thread will go into meltdown with the fearless leader abandoning the front...possibly the same time Ollie will be linked to signing with collingwood, melbourne and the cashed up Roos

Totally agree about the surface. Excellent club rooms too, I always used to enjoy going to Alberton.

What about going home?
You did win 2 or 3 games there in that 15 year dominance Port had from 88 onwards. ;)

The win there in ‘86 was the turning point of the season for Glenelg.

About 4 pm I was driving along the southern side of Mawson Lakes Uni campus. Walking the other way was a young lady wearing one of those dresses where the skirt bit looks like a large piece of fabric just wrapped around the waist; It gives the effect of a great big slit down the length of the skirt, just in front of one leg. It was a bit gusty at the time. I happened to look just as the wind blew either side of her dress outwards, exposing what lay underneath for a precious brief second.

Imagine my joy when I realised that she wasn't wearing knickers.

Yes, more of these 40 degree days please....

Doing the walk from Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty. Did have an issue with the idiots walking side by side & not moving when someone is coming the other way. As bad as cyclists not riding in single file.

Wow, hall of fame. That's a very impressive effort, hats (helmets) off.

I'm keen to known how it feels to be 'enshrined' though, looking forward to a full report. ;)

Nah, it's a combined awards night. So they give out the All-Star awards. I'm pretty sure its things like MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive POY, and positional awards.

And then they induct past players into the HOF on the night.

I've played 3 seasons (1 shit, 1 decent and 1 good). No HOF for me.

How did you go @HH3?

I think my MIL was inducted into the Hall Of Fame
