Surely they (South Adelaide) must’ve been consulted at some stage? How’d they know to put the Southern Volkswagen, ResourceCo and Flinders University logos on without club consultation?

Well, at least the SANFL tried something different to promote, even if they got mixed up with what colours some of the teams were.

Still reckon Dog_ger was the visionary when he mentioned many years ago the SANFL should move to a summer comp. That was before BBL and AFLW. If only Dog_ger got the position instead of Olsen.

Yes, congratulations, South Adelaide. I agree, also. Well done SANFL for trying something new. Also, on picking up a national company as the major sponsor - Australian Unity. In these days of ' AFL everything' it must be hard to attract major sponsors to back a new concept. Congratulations to both organisations for having a crack. I hope it was of some benefit to both!

Just like the last touch rule, one week before AFLX...SANFL is now the AFL's puppet.

The last touch rule is the SANFL rule.

AFLX is being played on a soccer ground with far fewer players.

AFLX is designed to be played overseas in future (hence the 7 a side soccer ground etc.)

The last touch rule is an AFL idea that they wanted to see how it played out
