I dont see why it needs to be played using AFL teams at this time of year. Its an injury waiting to happen, and they may get a half decent crowd due to curiosity, but that will fade quickly.

Yep, let's get these athlete's to play a high intensity version of the game in the pre season before they're match hardened and ready to stop / start / change direction.
