Are you saying testosterone levels play no part in developing strength?

As above, strength development is a neurological adaptation

Q, when it's all said and done, can we agree that men have, for whatever reason, the ability to gain strength and size due to their genetic makeup more than women?

If we agree on that, is it fair that a transgender athlete has that strength and size as a man, and can therefore use it against women because he wants to be a she?

Please tell more about your theory that tall women have more testosterone than short men.

That's not what i said. Again.
You stated that strength and height was due to high testosterone. You're wrong.

No he didn't. MW said

"she" developed her height and size as a man, not a woman...

Then in a different paragraph mentioned testosterone
you can't just cut a dick off and lower 'her' testosterone levels and wipe the slate clean...
That's how I read it.

Below is his only other post that mentions size, strength & testosterone
For me, the issue is it gained the size and strength as a dude not a chick. Testosterone levels are low enough now to be classed as a chick but the size is already there
Again I don't take that as MW saying strength & height were due to high testosterone.
I'm not disputing you know more than most people about this, I'm disputing he said the above statement

I'm confused, so many blokes on here don't care about AFLW, but they do care about a transgender person being allowed to play AFLW...

Humans, as well as some other organisms, can have a chromosomal arrangement that is contrary to their phenotypic sex; for example, XX males or XY females (see androgen insensitivity syndrome). Additionally, an abnormal number of sex chromosomes (aneuploidy) may be present, such as Turner's syndrome, in which a single X chromosome is present, and Klinefelter's syndrome, in which two X chromosomes and a Y chromosome are present, XYY syndrome and XXYY syndrome.[4] Other less common chromosomal arrangements include: triple X syndrome, 48, XXXX, and 49, XXXXX.

tl;dr - its not that simple.

Well that just went right over my head!

Agree on muscle mass yes. If you take an untrained man & woman of same stats, put them on same hypertrophy regime, same diet etc - the man will likely gain more muscle mass over time due to, put simply, higher testosterone (other factors at play, red blood cell count etc)

Mouncey has probably been in a gym due to sport background, so would have made muscle mass gains, and would have benefited from that higher testosterone.

So what do you think happens to her body when she transitions to low testosterone, high estrogen? Loses that muscle, gains fat, loses agility, stamina decreases, endurance decreases.

If you aren't among the " so many blokes on here (who) don't care about AFLW" , why respond to my post with roll eyes? Why did it worry you?

I don't really have any vested interest in AFLW at the moment, I will watch a game here or there to check the progress, what does concern me though is as my daughter is currently training with the state Under 16's and could possibly be playing in this comp in the next few years, I think it should be exclusive to women.
