I must say, after doing that test thing on Facebook the other night, I would be a very ugly woman.

It's more a discussion on should a male to female transgender be able to compete in a female sport. Just so happens to be in the AFLW that its happening

If you don't care about AFLW, if you think it's crap, why does it bother you?
Keep raging.

Please show me the post where I said that.

The roll eyes was because you didn't understand the discussion was not just about AFLW.
I didn't realise that if someone puts roll eye emoji it means they're raging or the post they quoted worried them. My apologies, I'll use a different one from now on

The one thing that I keep thinking is that 'Transgender' has become it's own thing. even govie forms now have options of male, female and non-binary and so in my finite little mind is Mouncey female? No and so therefore does not belong in AFLW.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Agree on muscle mass yes. If you take an untrained man & woman of same stats, put them on same hypertrophy regime, same diet etc - the man will likely gain more muscle mass over time due to, put simply, higher testosterone (other factors at play, red blood cell count etc)

Mouncey has probably been in a gym due to sport background, so would have made muscle mass gains, and would have benefited from that higher testosterone.

So what do you think happens to her body when she transitions to low testosterone, high estrogen? Loses that muscle, gains fat, loses agility, stamina decreases, endurance decreases.

Over what time frame?

The Dutch study that the IOC based their decision on says a year after gender-reassignment. The IOC doubled that waiting period to be on the safe side.

The golfer was club level, not elite IIRC.

She was BORN with both sex organs mate. She had no choice but to decide which its body was leaning strongly towards.

In the case of (What is Hannah's actual birth name?), he wants to live like a woman and take procedures to become one. But at the end of the day he will never be 100% a woman. So therefore he will always be a he.

Humans, as well as some other organisms, can have a chromosomal arrangement that is contrary to their phenotypic sex; for example, XX males or XY females (see androgen insensitivity syndrome). Additionally, an abnormal number of sex chromosomes (aneuploidy) may be present, such as Turner's syndrome, in which a single X chromosome is present, and Klinefelter's syndrome, in which two X chromosomes and a Y chromosome are present, XYY syndrome and XXYY syndrome.[4] Other less common chromosomal arrangements include: triple X syndrome, 48, XXXX, and 49, XXXXX.

tl;dr - its not that simple.

Well that just went right over my head!

Just under 5000 at the Parade. The AFL and Crows would be disappointed with that number.

I like the AFLW but I think the crowds will continue to get smaller over the years as the novelty wears off.

Check out the AFLX crowd in Sydney. Makes the AFLW crowd look like a packed house.

She is so skilful and that much better than anyone else it’s crazy.
She reminds me of Pendlebury for some reason, not for the basketball link but the skills and extra time she seems to have.

It's funny my brother and I recently were recalling a story at our mother's place how in primary school my brother got picked on by one of Erin's older sisters and I stepped in to tell her what's what only for my brother to now tell me it was all because he was picking on Erin because he didn't like it how much she bullied the boys while playing footy at lunch

Having a few beers watching the Carlton V Brisbane women’s game.
Start of the 3rd quarter and only one goal scored.
Is it always this low scoring?

Not going to attract and keep spectators if this continues.
