Tell me about your return to the Reds.
I'm interested, as I've found myself gradually doing the same.

Ok my drinking life in a nut shell
Red Tins 14-23
Pale ale 23-40ish
Mecury Cider 40ish to 43
Superdry/Mercury 6mths
Red Tins last 6 months
Think im finding it easier to drink, not so "heavy" like Pale ale. my other tastes in beers atm would be Peroni and Boags.

I look after all the beers at the Cricket Club, last year it wouldve been 4 cartons of superdry to 1 of Reds. This year it would easily be the other way round, almost cant get rid of the superdrys.
Have they changed the red tin recipie in the last year or is it just a revalution??

Red tins at 14.
That’s a late start for a Central supporter eh? ;)

I started on the Red Tins at 14 as well, but enjoyed Port and a little red and white wine prior to that ;)

Great Northern's getting smashed at our club at the moment.
Someone's done some good marketing there.

None of us are qualified to discuss.

When I say qualified I mean no hipster beard or little man pony tail on the top of our head.

I think it’s generational. Younger blokes will avoid what their Dad drinks when they become of age, so it goes in cycles. WED cans are popular at our cricket club with the 18-23 set, whereas all the other blokes up to their early 40’s will be guzzling Pale or Carlton.

My old man, on the rare occasion that he tippled, would drink pooncey liqueurs.

Therefore the entire range of beer, wine and spirits was open wide to me when I came of age. Thanks Dad! 8)
