All will come out in the next few days with what is happening at North Pines

A lesson for all clubs

Watch this space!!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

You would need at least another 15-20 on the books before considering a C grade..

Yeah I know the numbers required for filling 3 teams. Was just stating that with those numbers and hopefully more. We should have good depth this year and would be awesome for the club to have 3 grades.

Can't believe this time last year we had so much dramas getting players registered and going through them how to do it, changing emails, resetting passwords etc... 12 months later and the same spuds still don't know how to do it or have forgotten!

Surprised they even know how to play footy

Werent they promising a better login process last year like logging in via your facebook/google accounts? You can log into SportsTG passport with these other options but not register?

Honestly I couldn't remember which email address I registered with. It's not a straightforward process at all.

the pain in the butt is that you have to register every freaking year..thats ridiculous..you are registered to your club until you make a clearance to move..and then the system sorts it out..what is the point of this re-registering every year if you haven't changed clubs?

Maybe it's to track actual numbers/participation rates of players?
Maybe it's to track individual clubs in the background that you think may be at risk of not having players?

Who knows, but there has to be an easier way. Clubs should be able to just roll over players each season like with cricket.

To be fair to the administration the League has suffered because some clubs haven't told the truth (or were at least optimistic in defiance of reason).

Has to be a more-straight forward way of doing it though. Hell, to an extent requiring a (monitored) email address is rather prejudicial against older and lower socio-economic players.

Perhaps a system where an administrator can "activate" all the players who have said they will play this year and anyone on the list after Round 18 that hasn't played a single game gets "deactivated" for the following year?

Then those players have to re-register when they decide to play again (doesn't get rid of the remembering your email address problem though) but it would certainly streamline the process. It seems a lot of clubs have issues with getting payers to do it

We had a player who didn't know his date of birth, hadn't ever seen a computer let alone use one to get an email address. That was a funny conversation to say the least
