No, not just footy, this pattern of behaviour is a cultural phenomenon.

It spans politics, science, the work place... everything.

Actually very interesting readi.... Ahhh who am I kidding! Few too many syllables for this lot.

Edmund: Two syllables.

Prince: Two silly bulls? I don't think so, Blackadder -- not in The Bible. I can remember a fatted calf, but, as I recall, that was quite a sensible animal. Oh, ah! It's it, um, er, Noah's Ark, with the, er, two pigs, two ants, and two silly bulls? Is that it?

Edmund: Two syll- A-bles.

Prince: What?

Edmund: Look, we're getting confused; let's start again, shall we?

Prince: No, let's not, Blackadder. I think the whole game's getting a bit sylla, to be honest.

It's the problem with you people that don't think about things.

You don't put the horse atop a tower, you put a tower under a horse.

How does one fit a horse atop an ivory tower?

Person questions logic
Person provides evidence as to why logic should be questioned
Person cops admonishment for said questioning
Person assertively rejects admonishment
Person accused of arrogance

Ahhh yes have to love the people of sa footy.

We’re a pretty down to earth lot on here, a bit of friendly banter, don’t take ourselves too seriously. Most on here at times display very competent footy knowledge - but there’s also a lot is shit spinning & piss taking involved - it’s the way it is.
What isn’t appreciated is being preached & spoken down to - if you don’t think this is you, that’s your opinion. Opinions differ on here quite a bit.
Play on.
