Most immigrants aren't even entitled to Cenrelink for the first 12 months they're here.

he CSP will allow individuals, families, businesses and community groups to propose holders of Global Special Humanitarian visa subclass 202 for migration to Australia. Up to 1,000 places in the permanent Humanitarian Programme for 2017‑18 will be available for the CSP.

CSP entrants will have access to social security and Medicare. However, proposers will be required to support the settlement of these entrants for 12 months after their arrival in Australia, including providing an Assurance of Support. If the entrant needs to claim certain social security payments, such as Newstart Allowance, within their first 12 months in Australia, the proposer will repay these payments.

Don’t forget to wash the slice down with a glass of Chardonnay mate.

That's correct but these people are classed as refugees not immigrants

Doesn't matter, only asylum seekers are entitled to the same rights/payments as they are regarded as residents of Australia. As permanent residents of Australia they certainly don't get more than Pensioners or ex Servicemen, as most of them are only entitled to Newstart they would receive significantly less than a pension. Most of them find jobs pretty quickly as theyre willing to do jobs we don't and are much less of a burden on our society than pensioners are.
When I worked in Centrelink claims these would account for less than 1% of my customers.

What are you actually advocating for? A raise in pensions and genuine refugees get nothing?

Do you try to be a patronising dickhead on purpose? Or is that just how you are?

Everyone's explained their point pretty well, and they seem reasonable, but you still try to put words in their mouths.

You called Benny a dickhead last week.
A patronising dickhead this week.
What can we expect next week?

Same, I was fortunate enough to stumble across one a couple of years ago and had a great day, found myself strolling through the pits, a few celebrities got to meet me and some lucky grid girls wanted to pose for photo's with me.

Best one I went too for Clipsal was in the state government marquee about 7-8 years ago. That spread and grog was insane...

Last time I went to Clipsal was 2005. Skipped a Yr 12 Biology practical. Got shitfaced on straight vodka i smuggled in. Watched two random chicks mack on on a rug**** on the grass. Hooked up with a friend of a friend (female thankfully). Got propositioned by an older woman (probably about 35) outside the portable toilets. Declined, to the disgust of my mates.

Didn't see many cars.

The main reason we went was to see The Living End. Awesome concert and even better day,
