Anything to have changed the outcome of 1997 would have been fine by me.

Not to mention Geelong finished 2nd and the Crows 6th but yet found themselves in Adelaide....

You lost to the 7th ranked side 1st rd of finals...didn't deserve a home final after that

Interesting article talking about the value of set shots.

Basically kicking from outside 50 is on average worth more than kicking from 35m out - because you have to factor in the risk of moving the ball that extra distance - and that doesn’t outweigh the differences in accuracy, until you get right in close to goal
