yep...ditto here...I loved the Secret Samadhi album, just brilliant.

anyway back on track, is it possible that the audio from outside the venue is just as good as being in there, ala Footy Pk??

they've done a great job with the 4 concerts this year.

Mini Bedge (12 months) has been unwell since Sunday, Dr had him on a type of steroid to help, but tonight his temp is 39.

I need to know, when does it reach a point I take him to the hospital, or do I just monitor his temp and see how he goes?

Thanks mate! Much appreciated!

Got a locum out, suggested nurofen and paracetamol, and monitor breathing/temp over night, he’s booked into the GP first thing in the morning. Appears just a nasty virus, and it’s not overly bothering him except the cough and hard to settle.

Temp has come down to 38.3 after nurofen & dimertapp (Dr said use both together lol), so hopefully continues to drop.

Was close to doing it - just didn’t want to seem like the over reacting parent who drags a kid to the hospital only to be sent home again haha

Only take him if he's starting to show signs that he's not himself (like excessive sleepiness, or a rash etc) take him to hospital, keeping in mind that he'll be dehydrating himself in the process if he's not drinking.even sticking a big ice cube or ice block in his mouth, at least he'll be getting some sort of liquid in, if he's not taking it by bottle. Hydration is paramount here.

Neurofen is better than panadol but not by leaps and bounds.

Don't forget that fever is way that your body deals with infection.

*edit* oops, a bit late

We have used this service a couple of times being new parents and it is fantastic for piece of mind without clogging up the emergency department of the local hospital

There is also a breastfeeding advice hotline as well which was also awesome for my wife.

We used them as well from memory and they were great.

We don't drink so coffee and cake/dessert is my thinking.

a few of the Semaphore cafe's aren't open at that time and coffee Barun is in the same boat (although they do great coffee, I agree)

Does anyone have any remedies for sciatic pain?

It comes and goes throughout the year, generally when I've been doing heaps of umpiring, I've copped a bad dose of it the other day and it's not going away, it's getting worse if anything, it's excruciating and shooting down my whole left leg.

We have stairs at home so it's proving to be challenging.

In the middle of the night last night, our dog woke us up, as it was barking at noises coming from the roof/ceiling cavity.

So Im thinking its probably possum(s) or possibly rat(s).

Whats the best way to proceed in getting rid of whatever is up there? I believe possums are a protected species - Im thinking it would be best to just get a pest exterminator who knows what theyre doing....do some people specialise in getting rid of possums from roof/ceiling cavity, or would any "pest exterminator"do this type of thing?

Anyone had recent experience with this type of thing?

Send Punk Rooster a message, he's in the business.
I hope what I had years ago was rats as I got rid of them by throwing rat sack as far as I could from the man hole.

Yeah do that if you dont mind the stink of a rotting corpse in your ceiling or behind your walls.
You can get a possum trap, apple will attract them and then take them for a drive into the hills and release
