A lot of the cost is in the admin. If Crows and 36ers can combine those resources (marketing, social media, membership, communications etc) it will help the 36ers a lot.

Not just Port supporters.
Looks like this season will be my last supporting the 36ers
Well the Alberton mob's attempt at cross code promotion went extremely well for them........

Strange decision by the Swamp Corporation, they usually make good financial decisions but the 6'ers are a money pit, have been for years.

I have no doubt Fagan has done his due diligence on this. i believe in recent years since the new owner took over the 6ers have been doing ok corporately.

It's interesting that GWS and Collingwood both have netball teams and Essendon wants to have their own NBL team next year.

Clubs must see money in the national basketball and netball leagues. Didn't Port used to have an affiliation with the Thunderbirds? They even changed their colours from memory etc.

If the the memorial drive redevelopment does indeed go ahead it would be huge for the 36ers and seems like the value of them would skyrocket.

Also means if the crows put money into a facility there it is dual use (ie arena doubles as shed)

Certainly interesting

If MD was redeveloped I’d like to see them put a basement in as a function room and that could be used as the after game presentation area.

you wouldnt think they would redevelop it without it - though netball and basketball would certainly also benefit
