Head 41 from 9 boundaries! Puts some pressure on their skipper to spread the field and in turn allow for him to push the ball around more. Need a partnership here and we are back in it.

I suspect most those runs came in the early rounds?

Cooper is under the pump as well don't worry about that, i'm just surprised there has been no mention of Lehmanns form previously - I cant recall him really firing since before Christmas - BBL included.

Rd 5: 43 & 26
Rd 6: 83 & 19
Rd 7: 22 & 10

Correct, need runs out of one of them at least. It seriously hurts our batting if we lose Head/Ferguson cheap and then we lose Cooper/Lehmann quickly.

Add in that apart from Weatherald we haven't had an opener who has made the spot his own, we have generally started on the back foot already.

Head 75 (75), 15x 4's.. had a fair bit of luck, but hasn't taken a backward step.

Also brought up 4,000 FC runs in his 60th match - at 24yo that's a fair effort!

Tommy Cooper 27 off 65, 4x4 1x6.

5 off of his other 60 balls.

Whatever though, doing whats required and hopefully it's a case of belting the bad ball without risk.

LUNCH
SA 4/164 (Head 75*, Cooper 27*)

Require 166 runs. New ball due in 31 overs at our run rate, should require between 60-70 when it arrives, which could prove difficult.
