Do you really reckon what he did is worth missing the rest of the series?

Was charged twice in this match plus he is a repeat offender. Has accumulated enough demerit points to miss 2 games.

I feel that I will be alone in saying this. I think it is a bit of a shame.

Noting that Aussie cricketers are far from perfect in this area, but I hate seeing players suspended for bravado rubbish, especially players with Rabada's level of talent.

What he did was completely unnecessary, and to do it twice in the same match is plain dumb. Part of what excited me about this series was the calibre of players contesting against each other, and now SA's premier strike bowler is watching on for the rest of the series for pure stupidity.

It's now up to Australia to cash in, but if we were to win the series, i'd like us to do it beating SA at their best. Not to mention Rabada with his tail up is great to watch.

The suspension hurts the SA side and I've got no problems with that at all. He's been charged 6 times in the last 18 months and if the team behind the team hasn't been able to get the message through to him then the ICC and the match referee's will.

I think it's as much a blight on the SA leadership as it is the individual, I'm sure he's being spoken too by the leaders and coaches but he just isn't listening to them.

Absolutely a blight on their leadership. Faf came out and said he doesn t understand why Warner got off and Rabada got games. there is your problem, the captain defending him when he should be thrown un der the bus

That is exactly my point. He is getting suspended for dumb sh*t. It hurts the series and the observer of the game who likes to see the best competing against the best of the respective nations.

I am all for players playing with aggression and passion, but FFS, when a wicket is taken, be a little gracious.

If ( big if ) it does then the whole leadership structure needs to be looked at, not just Rabada's short fuse.

Rabada and his situation reflects the mentality of the Proteas. Continually in denial when their behavior is called into question.... deKock, Rabada and of course Faf himself with the ball tampering issue... never once have they accepted the decision and subsequently the responsibility for their actions.

How could Rabada have so little control that whilst he was facing one charge involving the send off of Smith he had another charge laid at him for his action towards Warner, I agree he is a talent and he is great to watch but he desperately needs to learn the lesson now.

With Capetown and Joburg traditionally the quickest wickets in SA, the Aussies would be happy not to face the Rabid Bull.

I personally dont think Rabada should get suspended for that. Yes it was silly but he hardly touched him.

He wasn't suspended just for what happened in the 2nd Test. It was a culmination of previous indiscretions that lead to him being over the threshold for mandatory suspension.

Yes but he would have been fined anyway like warner if he had a clean record. I personally don’t think he did much wrong
