Suspect they'll help fill up the C grades and we'll have an 8 team comp in D7

Yes, eight team comp - 14 Games, Then 3 more games against teams that are in the same 1/2 of the ladder that you are in after the 14 games- 17 Games for the season in Total.

Top 4 or top 5 finals series?

Geez you'd be pissed if you were sitting in 4th spot after 14 rounds by a single win, then have to play the top 3 sides while 5th place gets the bottom 3!

The 3 extra games should be the 4 Northern teams play each other and the 4 Southern teams play each other, a bit fairer on 4th spot.

I know it's along way from finals and who votes on it but according to the poll on here the top 4 may consist of 2 Northern teams and 2 Southern teams, seems fair for everyone.
Although I don't know why 28 people have picked the Lions, They've only won a few games in the last 5 years.

That doesn't make sense to me. Why not 18 games. And the last four games being two against bottom half, two against top half. Far more equitable.

Otherwise you could play a team 3 time in the season and then again in the finals (could be twice more).

If we play every body twice, its only 14 game season, our finals would be done before the other grades start

If think this has legs, would be hard to get blokes from North to South etc to travel to play the same team 3 times in a six week period.

Settle children.

This still has to be given the OK by the clubs themselves at the delegates meeting on Monday night.

It may not even happen .
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

What delegates? The ones from the clubs in this division, or from all clubs?

Something definitely needs to be sorted out as every year Div 7 has always got problems with unsettled line ups (clubs playing in Div 7). It's never ever settled of who's playing or whos folding. It's always known a few weeks before round 1 of who's playing in Div 7.

If you have a solution I am sure everyone would be happy to listen ;)

Unfortunately being the last of the A Grade Divisions you get what is left and it becomes difficult to enforce C Grade sides to play against A Grade sides

An 8 team template you have 2 choices, play everyone twice and have a 14 round season or accept that the draw will be like the AFL one and uneven
