Yeah we would never have seen Ken Farmer, Russell Ebert, Barrie Robran or Malcolm Blight play in this state if it wasn't for the Crows.
A bigger force than World Wars even before they were invented are the Crows.
Hard to imagine why some think they're arrogant.

Pretty sure that was meant to be 1990.

Almost as funny as Crows fans forgetting where they come from.
Without the SANFL you wouldn’t exist and the SANFL are still looking after you with free rent at West Lakes. Maybe it’s time you give a little bit back hey?

Have not forgotten at all, but its not nice when Mum and Dad disown their own children. But, the kids are now adults and time to leave home. Not sure the kid needs to pay Mum and Dad money as they leave though but anyway...

Norhing would suprise me with Crows supporters. The Crows are probably the reason the big bang happened according to them.
Pretty sure I was joking too.

Yes, when the SANFL owned the Crows license.

The SANFL fans want a competition with integrity at any cost, which they'll probably get and it will cost them.

Agreed.

Might not just cost them financially, but one could argue the competition was dying a slow death well before the entry of the two AFL sides anyway.

Same rings true for Port fans I’d imagine. Most have been wanting out of the SANFL for some time which is fair enough but it would be the final death knell of the Magpies and the last time you will probably see the famous guernsey which would leave some of the old die hards a tad upset I’d suspect

So the 1980s wasn’t a golden era for the sanfl.

Keep rewriting history fellas. BennyMac and Mw will believe you.

Just hang on to all your hats for a sec fellas I don't think we are in the clear yet. In that I mean they arent gone just yet, just wait and watch the SANFL for a bit, I believe they are not keen for the AFL clubs to leave.

Also Port are saying they haven't had any conversations about a reserves comp with the AFL since 2014.

Also, what authority to the SANFL, very little actually on the matter of reserves games. However, for anyone that is involved in any business at all will work out the key is and always has been to the SANFL's battle with the AFL is control of the SMA. Hence from this point they could get the SA AFL clubs to do what they want, its all about squeezing them through SMA which the SANFL is still in control off.

Apologies UK, that should have read before the entry of the 2 AFL reserves sides.

It wont cost the SANFL a thing, just look at pre crows crowds to present day.
People like myself put in 5-10k a year into our club as opposed to nothing now, whilst most wouldn't contribute as much, you dont need many out of the 1500 less people to easily surpass what the Crows contributed. The Power contributed nothing (be it alue or money) so theres an easy nett gain there.
Not all will come back due to a loss of interest but it wont take many to more than cover it easily.

Hell sitting around playing tiddlywinks would be better than what have got.
I’ve always said that I’d rather the comp fold than either of the two sides win a flag

Anything? Sure.

Nothing is better than the current setup as proven by the downturn in crowds. Not that that would happen except for in the minds of a few scare mongering fools.

So you suspect the SANFL believe having Port and Adelaide is better for the competition as a whole than not having them?

The club has released a statement to that effect, but that'll get declared hogwash by those in here who believe it so.
