What hustle getting on the floor like that from Deng, he's 6'10"!

Hopefully Childress is at worst an AC Joint and get it juiced up. It’s a good sign that it’s not been cradled up.

Was so awesome being courtside today, it was the loudest I've heard a crowd at any sporting event ever!
I have the best job in the world getting to stand with the 36ers players in the race before the game when they run out to the cheering crowd.
What a game!
Bring on next Sunday, hoping we win in Melbourne and win the championship here next Sunday, that would be amazing!

Childress spent a lot of time in the rooms in the last quarter but seemed to be walking OK and walked out to the court for the last few minutes.

The second biggest basketball news of today is that Basketball Australia have announced they've secured Team USA to come to Australia for two warm up games against the Boomers ahead of the World Cup in August next year. Both games will be played in Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.

This will be the first time the USA national team has played in Australia since the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

In the third biggest basketball story today in a bit of a shock decision the NZ Breakers have announced head coach Paul Henare has left the club. Henare was offered another contract but declined to seek other opportunities and has already been linked with the vacant Cairns Taipans head coach position and he still remains the head coach of the Tall Blacks.

**** that was awesome to watch. You could see the first 2 minutes that Melbourne were in for a long match. The players, fans, even the Sixer Chicks had a focus about them that was very hostile and were determined to make this match hell for the opposition. There were parts of that match that reminded you of college basketball crowds in the U.S. Raised hairs on your arms!
