What is Western Australia doing ?
Are they trying to set South Australia 1,000 runs to win ?

Shield ladder before this last round
28.54 Western Australia
28.03 South Austrlalia

Western Australia have set South Australia a target of 525
I can only assume they didnt declare earlier was to not risk the wooden spoon ?

Queensland cricket is in good shape. From recent years they are missing Hopes, Hartley, Cutting, Forrest, Lynn, Khawaja, Harris, Boyce, Gannon, Feldman, Floros, Stanlake etc. still manage to find players who are capable such as Labuschagne, Heazlett, Hemphrey, Wildermuth, Renshaw, Pierson, Swepson, Doggett etc who are only in their 2-3rd years

Have just popped in for a quick look down the Bay and the ground looks a treat. Pitch is still holding up well and the ball isn’t doing too much considering the conditions, a good chance for us to bat some serious time.

Glad Ross failed so we can finally cut him free, just doesn’t understand the importance of taking his opportunity. Was a legacy of the Berry era and needs to be moved on.

Whilst it could benefit us, I don’t think there would be any demand at the moment. Probably have to carry him and hope he matures.

I’d be keen to chance NicMad or Big Show. Bit of a hard sell when we play more home games interstate or at Glenelg then we do at Adelaide Oval across the two formats.

Moving to Railway Oval (Karen Rolton) next year as the number 2 venue I think
