AFL Round 1 - 2018 - A 4 week build up.

Talk on the national game

Great game last night apart from overpolicing the protected area. Carlton were pretty impressive but Richmond's structure was always going to grind them down in the end, particularly when two players went down. How good is Butler? Some clinical skills on that kid.

Dear Carlton

We'd like to formally confirm our order for Patrick Cripps to join us for season 2019.

Love

The Adelaide Crows.

PS - can we place a pre-order for Charlie Curnow for 2020? ta.

I thought last night game was pretty good, easily the best opener in some time.

There's a couple more that we'd like to take a longer look at before making our decision.

If you wouldn't mind just ripening them up a little bit for us that would be great... don't worry, we'll take them off your hands before they fully ripen and bloom... just how you like it :lol:

My Friday Forecast -

* Bryce Gibbs to star for Adelaide.
* Devon Smith to collect 30+ and contribute on the scoreboard for Essendon.
* More 50m penalties due to the "protected zone".
* Betts to stake an early claim for goal of the year.
* Daniher to boot a goal from inside the centre square.
* Bombers just.
* Crowd 47,856.
