Well well well. A team owned by the NBL getting a leg up. Who would have thought?

Had all the momentum despite the 3 pointer on the buzzer from Melbourne. Was wondering if we would get screwed over and it didn’t even take for the 2nd half to begin before it started

Probably the proudest I've ever been of a 36ers team tonight. expected to get thumped without Childress then we got screwed by having Sobey ejected at half-time and with all the bullshit calls United got tonight and we only lost by a three points.

An amazing effort really despite all the crap calls they got including ejecting Sobey and they only just beat us on their home court.

This is a seriously special group we've got here doing our state proud and I'm expecting us to level the series on Sunday.

I just don’t understand how Sobey gets ejected for that? Very proud of the boys but **** me! Childress plays tonight we are playing for the title Sunday! Shit happens!

Not playing the victum, there was seriously nothing in that.

Make their lives hell Sunday and then roll the dice in Melbourne.

Great game last night but there are parts of it where it was an absolute farce.

Obviously that Sobey ejection was a disgrace- what was the exact reason he was ejected for? If it was a headbutt, well he didn’t headbutt him. What footage did the referees see at half time to eject him? Prather comes to him to instigate conflict and Sobey at worst pushes him away with his forehead and that did not even jolt Prather 1mm. I dont understand why there is a problem?

Also when is the case being held? Perth and Adelaide have a fight on a Friday night and the league holds the hearing the following Monday after the 2 teams play again. Last night it was mentioned that this one will be fast tracked with the hearing in the next 24 hours. If that’s not a witch hunt I don’t know what is? This is an absolute disgrace and if the Sixers have any balls they would be taking this one further if the hearing is held today and Sobey is suspended without any action against Prather.

If you get the chance watch Joeys press conference. Every question he answers “I’m not sure”. I couldn’t stop laughing at the end. I love Joey!

There hasn't been any talk of a possible suspension for Sobey other than the NBL's Game Review Panel was expected to meet this morning to analyse the game. I think once they look at the footage Sobey will be fine.

The incident - as well as one or two others from the fiery game - may well have further implications on the series with the league’s Game Review Panel expected to meet this morning to analyse the game.

Had almost calmed down when I find out two Melbourne players got found guilty of headbutting. How many of them got sent off.

So the bloke walks over instigates the whole fight and has the exact same charge laid on him as the bloke who got ejected- Nothing happens in game to him where the officiating people also reviewed the footage. You can not be serious?
