A1- Pooraka and i think marks is a big one this weekend. runs and wickets could be his day.
A2- Scotch. easy to say scott but i think its the captains day for a big one.
A3 -Trinity. Austin Smith with the ball.

A1 - Pooraka. If Walkerville are to win they will need to bat first. Knowles is key for the Cats with bat and ball. Hard to find an x factor for Pooraka as they always have so many contributors. But I would say Rocco if he can fire early, it will set the tone for their batting innings.

A2 - Scotch - could see a couple of big scores in this game. Tony Scott for man of the match

A3 - Trinity - Alex Cotter for mine is the X-factor. If he can get going he can take the game away from GG

In A2 I favour Scotch. Woodville Rechabites batting line up is interesting with Holton and Duffett at 7 and 8, but I believe the key to this game is who can penetrate with the new ball and this is where Scotch have a huge advantage. Tom Bourne is on fire and Nathan Fox has fully recovered from a calf strain and they form one of the best combinations in A2. I'd be surprised if Noy and Crichton last long against Bourne and Fox, which should give Scotch a crack at Behrendt, Brown and Rosenthal while the ball is still new. On the other hand, the Woodville Rechabites openers, Cameron Behrendt and Rowan Pivetta are just steady and I cannot see them penetrating into the Old Scotch batting line up. This will put additional pressure on Woodville Rechabites best bowlers, Rosenthal and Duffett. I cannot see Duffett being able to bowl much more than 8-10 overs. The big wicket for Woodville Rechabites is David Scholz. He smashed them to all parts last time they played. Scotch to win and Tom Bourne to get 5 for and man of the match. Good luck to both teams and I hope the weather stays away.

A1 - Walkerville, I just have a funny feeling they bat first, post 250 and defend it

A2 - Scotch, Rechabites bowling very light relying on Rosenthal and will struggle for early wickets and their batting only seems like it has depth because Duffett hides himself at eight. Bourne and Fox to rip through their top order and Scholz to bring it home with the bat.

A3 - Trinity, just because

Pooraka, Scotch and Trinity. - Little to no play on Sunday and all to win as higher ranked sides.

Great weekend at Waldeck with the TOSers getting up in a thriller.
Eythan Barraclough (94), Mitch Dearing (75), Austin Smith (33) gave us 307 to defend.
However, a massive innings from Brad Anderson (146) nearly took the flag away from us.
His run out proved the difference and Smith bowled the last two batsmen to dismiss them for 285, with nine balls left.
Great game, played in great spirit.

Am enjoying the lads' Snaps today. Good viewing.

Is Trinity Old Scholars' rise correlated at all with Northern Jets fall? In the same way Pooraka's has

Well done on collecting 5 premierships as you have risen through the ranks - LO, C1, B2, A4 and A3. Good luck in A2. If you can make it 6 next year that would be something!

I guess, like most clubs, we've got players who have been involved at Grade clubs as juniors.
Interestingly, we'd have as many who were involved at TTG as at Northerns.
But none of our players have been recruited directly from those clubs and most are returning home, being Old Scholars.
The players who aren't Old Scholars are Jarryd Furnell, who returned to us after a stint at Brahma but got as high as Northern's Twos in 11/12.
Austin Smith, is from Angle Vale.

I wasn't sure about his earlier stages.
