Bloody horrendous short game today... Everything up to 30yards from the green solid once I got within the 30yards I was rooted...

Won a birdie ball so that's OK...

How good is golf...? Image

Well after yesterday’s pleasing 9 holes I continued that form in to today’s stroke round but the trouble is it was just that 9 holes! Started the day Birdie, Par, Par and yep Par and thought geez I’m in for a ripping day turned after 9 with 39 off the stick and very very happy with myself but from there it all went down hill!

We had to wait 30-40mins to play the 10th as the last 3 morning groups hadn’t teed off yet, then we basically had to wait at every tee block as there was only 2 of us. Whilst it’s not a great excuse the continuous waiting just broke my rythem ended up with 45 on the back 9. No real horrendous hole mainly 5’s I did get a bogey 6 on the par 5. Just the constant waiting annoyed the hell out of me and seriously effected my rythem.

39 and 45- 84 for a nett 71

Certainly ‘A what could’ve been round’

Playing in a comp Monday at Murray Bridge never played there before. Has anyone on here? I heard 6 Par 3’s? Surely not.

Yep it’s true, played the bridge a few times. It’s actually a decent track, apart from the 6 par 3’s. Greens are generally very good. 16th best hole on the course IMO. Best day to play is Wednesday am, when the races are next door!

At least it’s still 13!

My 18th and 19th rounds are both ‘flagged’ so it should go out a little soon I think.

You need a new buggy to go with that fancy bag.

South Lakes G.C today for Stroke in absolutely beautiful conditions.

Was quite a reasonable round. One horrendous hole but overall we had a 85 for nett 72.
The 5th is out of action and there is a little 95m temp par 3.

Greens were slow....magnificent!!! But still took a while to adjust.
